Fringe World Perth - She Was Probably Not A Robot

  • The Blue Room Theatre The Perth Cultural Centre, 53 James St, Northbridge, WA Australia (map)

Direct from a 5-star season at the Edinburgh Fringe, multi-award winning theatremaker Stuart Bowden (The Beast, The World Holds Everyone Apart, Apart From Us) returns with his prototype invention She Was Probably Not A Robot - a lo-fi, DIY, offbeat, sci-fi, storytelling experience!

This new show follows the international success of The Beast, nominated for Best Independent Theatre Writing and Best Independent Theatre Performer (Melbourne Green Room Awards 2013) and The World Holds Everyone Apart, Apart From Us, which earned Stuart four award nominations at the Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringe Festivals in 2011, including Arches Brick Award (Edinburgh Fringe) and Best Theatre Production, Best Performer and the Underbelly Edinburgh Award (Adelaide Fringe).

Well-known for his collaboration with Dr Brown (as the Tiger in the Dr Brown kids' show) and his work with the Lounge Room Confabulators, Stuart brings this surreal, soulful comedy about a cosmic visitor on a decomposing world to Perth for The Blue Room Theatre Summer Nights.
